Step by Step Setup Instructions
|
To setup a new e-mail account:
- Open Outlook 2000
- Click on
Tools
- Select Create
a new Internet Mail Account, and click
Next
- In the Display
Name field type in your name, then click
Next
- In the E-mail
address field type in your Username followed
by @mydomain.com, then click Next
- Incoming Mail Server should be
POP3
- In the Incoming
Mail Server field type: pop.mydomain.com
(replace mydomain.com with your unique domain
name)
- In the Outgoing
Mail Server field type: smtp.mydomain.com,
then click Next
(replace mydomain.com with your unique
domain name)
- In the Account
Name field type in your login/user name
- NOT your entire e-mail address
- In the Password
field type in your Password, then click Next
- Select Use
an Existing connection, then click Next
- Click Finish
